…it was my cherished dream to become an artist since early childhood. I was always watching at this world with the eyes of researcher – as if I was in the endless field and couldn’t help admiring the beauty and power of what was made by nature. I was trying to remember everything I saw: high ultramarine sky, the line of horizon, opened to a view, juicy green grass, each small stone and plant, I could find, and bright lemon sun, which shined so bright and made me feel alive…
I was given to the art school at the age of 8 and started learning painting step by step. At first, it was colorful clear drafts which can be created with a hand of a small pure child, who doesn’t know what else happening in the world and hiding behind the wall of nice and wonderful image, which was invented by his mind…
Time passed…I was growing and the world around me was changing. I achieved a success in studying art, due to the words of my teachers. At the same time my inner-self was on its own way and I couldn’t do anything about it – it’s being changed all the time while I was growing and I only could feel its movement…
After finishing art school in 2004 I decided not to stop, but continue improving my skills in drawing, also trying to invent my own style. You can see clearly how my life position was changing according to all the pictures were made and being made now. It was a long and hard way, to choose my point, which I really wanted to show to the world. After the years of searching the ideas in the art field I revealed three main topics which are reigning in the modern world nowadays: Violence, Sexuality and Death – three inseparable lines, coming through my drawings…
The main work includes graphic works and oil paintings, which describe the phenomenon of modern human being. Graphic became a mirror of our inner-selves. This is a puzzle, putting all the parts of which together, you can penetrate into the endless depth of a human soul. While the some other paintings show completely different side of our nature – external one, wild and dirty facade, keeping our animal instincts. The aim was to make people to face themselves without fear, to accept their inner world and as a result try to make the outward reality better…
